Imagine your physical being is made up of pure gold. Let's say you visit a land where all ruler of this land is not aware of the value of gold and therefore is not very interested or can even see your worth. Does this make your gold any less valuable? Maybe in his land it is not valuable, however there are many places where gold is valued at the highest regard. Do not take the rulers assessment of your value as the fact of nature, take it as the fact of their perception and chose to be where your value is well, valued!

History is great for reflection and can be used as a reference. When we begin to live our lives from the mindset of the past, or begin to miss the present moment because of thoughts or reflections on past events we become prisoners. Reliving feelings of past events is fine when it is fleeting, when it is consuming you are ineffective and distracted. How much can be done when you are looking at your reflection in the mirror? At some point you must move from the mirror and get out in the world to make things happen. As you reflect on your history, take note, but do not live there.

Personal best

You cannot reach a personal best without progress. You must take direct and specific action to the outcome you desire to achieve the result you plan to gain. Hitting a personal record is great, however the victory is won in the daily, intentional progress.

seeds and their needs

Fathers, give your daughters your knowledge and allow them to display their wisdom. These gentle seeds must be placed in fertile soil and fed with clean water and positive light. They do not need the same trials as the boy seeds but they do need their proving grounds. Give them mental stimulation and consider their feedback. They will develop their leadership skills with you. Listen to them, challenge them, praise them. A beautiful flower is soon to follow.

Share a thought, idea, or favorite candy. Sharing is one way to bring the joy of your world into another's. When we share we place value on something and care about another person enough to bring them into the experience. Look ahead today and be prepared to share something you love with someone you love.

So I found this picture and was excited, confused and intrigued all at once. Banana milk?! Are you serious? Is it good? Have I been missing out on this treat my entire life and no one has thought to tell me about this? Or is it a horrific stretch of flavor combinations that never should have been attempted? I cannot rest until I know.... TBC

Dr. Myles Munroe has a series where he introduces the concept of the Gift of the Gift. Where sometimes we get so caught up in the packaging or delivery of a gift that we may miss the actual gift itself. He also goes on to explain how you can receive but not accept a gift. It is a powerful lesson that will do your mind good no mater what your spiritual preferences are.

I love to listen to people that can manipulate the language to give words double meanings and poetical license. To bounce a word of another with such elegance is a thing of beauty. To evoke deep emotion through the written or spoken word because it paints a picture that the senses embrace. This is to be one with the source of all. The very element of creation. Word Play is beautiful.

Every experience we have can and will teach us a lesson. Look around for the lesson in each activity. Do not discount lessons such as gratitude and reciprocation. Use those as markers for what you have done well and can continue to do. Do not carry lessons such as guilt or shame. Look closely at the root and make the adjustments to avoid those lessons from repeating. Some people get the message in jail, others in church, some in nature and still others in traffic. It is all around you everyday, open your eyes and accept the lesson.
