Love Always - Coach J
I write here from time to time with an encouraging word. Many times I do this to reinforce a lesson for myself. Creating this space was also a thought as a place my children could stumble upon sometime and browse the thoughts of their father. It is interesting to me when I look at the traffic to this page and I have no idea who is listening. Who is impacted.
Love Always - Coach J Be the pillar on which your children can lean. Strong, sturdy, flaws and all - be there.
Love Always - Coach J When you are mired in the details take a moment and find higher ground. Step away and consider the ripple effect of your actions. Also realize the worst thing to do is to take no action. Live your life, make your move, go for it. In the vastness of time and space the fear you are feeling is to even a blip on the radar. However the greatness that will come from moving through your discomfort can be a tidal wave of love and joy. Go for it - make your move.
Love Always - Coach J You never know when a simple, subtle comment can make your day brighter. I received a comment the other day on this blog from a good friend giving me a shot of inspiration. When we are intentional with our words to inspire others it is interesting how clearly we can see the volume of love in comments sent back to us. A quick word of direct appreciation can go much farther than an drawn out "scripted" thank you. I start this morning with a shot of gratitude to the little things that create huge impact! What has inspired you recently?
Love Always - Coach J Who broke the board? Is it the person that did the striking? Or is it the person that trained them? Is it the person that held the board steady? To what degree are we independent and to what degree are we all connected? Share your thoughts below - who broke the board?
Love Always - Coach J Everyday there is work to do. When the deadline comes, then you know the work on that project is complete. However there is still more to do. Keep the ax sharp and your back strong. Set your sites on the deadline and deliver. No excuses, no regrets.
I am grateful to have the work to do, as Eric Thomas would say "Thank God it's Monday!" - Who else has that mindset? Thankful for the work and giving it your best. Love Always - Coach J |
