Few things are a painful as watching your child go through a tough period. It is especially difficult when the hardship they are enduring is self-inflicted. Knowing you have laid the good path and the road markers to what you believe is the good work to do as a parent. Children will stray, but if you have make a clear, and well marked path you have done all you can. I write this today as a concerned and loving parent, not as words for you but as word for me. I know I have made a clear path of expectations and love for my children and to watch one stray upsets my soul. The most important thing I ensure them is that they are loved and that the path home is always open and well marked for the day the return. To all the parents and children finding their way - the path home is marked with love.

As I sit in the comfort of our cozy home, the children playing on the floor, a good read in hand with the scent of love floating through the air I have one thought repeating over and over in my head - "this is heaven". Find your heaven on earth. To live a moment of true bliss is to live a life fulfilled. As moments are fleeting taking the time to identify and soak in the beautiful ones is a practice well serving your mind, body, and soul.
