If you are reading this I will write in the fashion that you have established your "why".  Why you do what you do - why you get out of bed each day.  Now I want to offer to make sure you share your why with the people you are closest with as well as people you come into contact with.  You never know where a connection will be made to give you leverage, motivation or inspiration.

When you are in an environment you are not comfortable in can you still remain grounded to your principles and stay focused to your mission?  All things must pass so enjoy the moment you are in.  If the moment is chaos move through it with grace and resist the urge to fight it or go against it.  Simply maintain your ground inside and the outside will come back into alignment.

Enroll at your local community college for a new class or skill.  Talk with your coworkers about a skill or attribute they demonstrate.  Help as an assistant coach in your community.  Talk with local business owners that you frequent about best practices and challenges.  Every lesson you learn can be applied to any area of your life, personal or business.  Life is begging to teach you all of its secrets.  All you have to do is open yourself to the realization that you are always continuing your education.

Even a lone wolf comes from a pack.  No matter where you are in your life a support network is most important.  You can take the victim approach if you choose and say you do not have anyone that cares about you.  I would suggest if you feel this way that you find someone to care about.  The more you begin to care for others that are truly concerned with doing good and being the best they can you will find more and more people that care about you.  Your network will grow and so will you.  Stay connected to the right types of energy through your network.

Sometimes statistics, compensation and other factors have nothing to do with your hunger to compete.  Sometimes it is just that burning desire inside of you to show yourself what you are capapble of.  When you go after any project, game or event with this attitude all the odds swing in your favor.  Regardless of the outcome you can rest at night knowing you gave your best.

You may learn where ever and when ever you chose to.  Do not wait to be validated or accepted by any formal school of learning to increase your knowledge.  Once you have begun your journey you will need to make social connections to expand your understanding of your lessons.  Growth does not happen in a bubble. The seed needs soil, light and water.

It's time for an inventory check.  Write down the names of the 5 people you spend the most time with on a peer level.  If anyone on this list drains you or takes away from you, minimize your time with them or completely eliminate them from your circle.   Now write down the names of three to five people you are going to spend more time with.  Be careful and aware of the company you keep.  Add to others and ALWAYS add to yourself!

When I talk about next to the bed I mean the nightstand or something similar but no furniture is needed to execute this lesson.  I discourage sleeping with the TV on or even watching it right before bed.  No cell phones parked next to you.  If you use one as an alarm clock set it across the room so it is away from you and you have to get out of bed to turn the alarm off.  Turn all ringers and alerts off.  Enough about what not to do, now what you can do to rest better.  Place a notebook and a pen next to your bed - within reach.  Capture your highlights from the day and lessons learned before bed.  Also write out a few things you are grateful for.  In the morning if you've had inspiriation in the night write it out.  At leaast glance the things you were grateful for from the night before and add a few to start your day.  Clear your head when you get into and out of the bed.  Rest well to play well.

If you knew you had a plan that could help someone 100% would you only help them if they followed the plan exactly and achieved 100% success?  Or would you be willing to meet them where they are, even if it was 10% or 20%?  Would you turn your back?  Give unconditionally and allow others to drink what they can.  They'll get what they need, not what you want to give.  The fact that you are giving is more than enough.
