Love Always - Coach J
I learned valuable lessons under a football coach we called Coach Mo. I learned not only how to inspire and drive many different personalities, I also learned about my style and approach. When to step up and when to step back. Reflecting this morning and going through the list of people I am grateful for Coach Mo came to mind. As I dressed and prepared for the day ahead with my professional team I realized that from sports to business the lesson is the same. Inspire, motivate, and get the best from my team. When they do not perform to top standards I will own the result and adjust my approach to ensure we win the game. Thank you Coach Mo.

For me New Years has become a time of refelction. To look at the past year and note accomplishments. To celebrate the victories, the challenges overcome, and give thanks for all the good that has passed. It is also a time to honor yourself and your support system for the tough times you worked through in the year past. I have made this transistion as over the past few years I become focused on goal setting, orientation, and achievement with regularity. I no longer set "New Years Resolutions". There is no need. I have a long and short term plan. I have quarterly metrics to pace my progress. However my strength was my weakness. By staying so future focused I never celebrated or honored myself and the others for the good work we had done. A few years back the link to the video below was shared with me by a good friend and I learned to create time and space to celebrate annually. Thank you to my friends and family for all you do to support the love and growth of those around you.
