Love Always - Coach J
When you are disconnected from something you are not aware of its current state. If you are disconnected you can make assumptions about its progress but you cannot be sure. When you are disconnected from a person it can appear that you may not care for their current or future state, when simply you have no current information to go on. When you attempt to connect and cannot connect what is next? My perspective is to remain consistent and available. If you are steady and consistent, remain available, and let your intentions be known of having a desire to connect there is not much more you can do. This way you know you have done everything you can and when the other party wants to connect, they can see you are in the same place and welcome the connection. Too many times a lack of connection can be perceived as a lack of caring. A break in an electrical wire will cause the current to stop at a the break but electricity is still electricity and love is still love, just sometimes it is disconnected. If you have a connection you want to want to repair simply do your part and let the rest happen.

It is possible to give and still increase, as is it is possible to withhold too much an be in poverty. What are you holding back that you can give? Time, Money, Love, Attention? You get what you give. Are you giving happiness or pain? Don't hold back the gift you were given to share. Love Always - Coach J It is common to look at animals and be in awe of their primal reactive movements. Many times there actions are majestic and poetic. Even when maintaining the natural order of things such as preying on another species their action is never malicious or gluttonous. An animal simply takes what it needs in that moment and moves on. Visualize the picture of a lion resting in a field of gazelles and none of them are running. The lion is not their enemy the hungry lion is. The gazelles have not formed a league to eradicate the lions from the earth and the lions are not trying to "stock up" on gazelles for themselves. The beauty of the animal kingdom is it is all about instant feedback WITHIN natural order. Once you comprehend natural order you can begin to apply your thoughts and actions accordingly and live aligned with the source of creation. Consider this and feel free to comment. Love Always - Coach J It can be tough enough to wake from a slumber to jump out of your bed with enthusiasm but how do you deal with waking to an unexpected event? For example you wake up to your power being out, or a water leak in the house, maybe you or one of your loved ones is ill. So first you wake up and say "This is a great day that I will own!" Then you leave the bed half sleep still convincing yourself that it will be an amazing day and you step into the water from the leak and BAM! your mood changes instantly. When any unexpected even hits I'll ask you to consider this method. Review your roles in life and react from that position. By roles I mean, father, husband, brother, neighbor, coworker - whatever. and go from a victim to a leader within the role you play in relation to the event. You'll find courage to act and a foundation to act from. No longer the selfish person upset by the change and fretting about how this will deter the rest of your day - no - now in this moment you are superhero, husband, son , father, whatever and the rest will fall into place. Nothing better than being able to rise and shine - well maybe except to be aware of how to shine all day long. Love Always - Coach J I wrote a few days back about toddlers hugging their favorite stuffed animals. Today as I dropped off my little one at day care there was a younger girl that had her soft blanket from home she would not let go of as she walked around the center. Now that you are older what is your thing of comfort? I think of my teenagers and immediately think it is their phone. They cling to that for sure. For me - is it my computer? Books? I am not sure and will take some objective feedback on that for clarity. What I do know is we should cling to God, to seek knowledge, gain understanding and apply wisdom. We should cling to spending time and attention with our loved ones. Cling to being gentle and firm at the same time. I ask that we enjoy the external pleasures but squeeze and release them. And definitely do not cling to them. Love Always - Coach J Learning. One of the wisest (and most successful) businessmen I know is also one of the most open to new ideas and perspectives. He is always willing to listen and adapt new strategies or thoughts. He is also willing to draw a hard line when he sees someone heading in a direction that he knows will result in a loss. He is not afraid to speak up or passive by any means, however I have been struck by his open nature. He is like a child in the enthusiasm he brings to learning new things or at least hearing them out each day. No matter his success he's never stopped learning. What a lesson in action. I am grateful I have witnessed it because I have heard this advice before but seeing it in action, having a frame of reference to model is beyond explanation for my ability to accept the lesson. Love Always - Coach J Yesterday I addressed the topic of Father being the Source. You are like that from which you came. An apple comes from an apple tree. Certain genetic factors and traits will come from your physical father. Other traits will come from your eternal source, the source of all life. To be able to resource the original love, compassion, wisdom and understanding is a blessing to say the least. Look into your life and see where you can be a resource for someone else. You don't need to have all the answers, check in with your source and channel them. It is a complement to your connection to the source to be considered resourceful. Love Always - Coach J Take a moment and think about how it feels when someone genuinely takes an interest in a project you are working on, your health or your family. It is a feeling of warmth mixed with excitement. We love to share information about things we are passionate about. When we share a goal we are chasing we feel stronger and more at peace with that goal when we can say it out loud and have another person really get behind us on it. Our language calls this taking interest in someone. Interest means we are curious or want to learn more about a topic or person. Anytime we project this type of energy we are feeding the other person. It also means a regular payout on an investment or loan. You have invested in this person and they will keep you updated regularly to keep the energy level maintained - this is interest. It is a self filling energy source. With this in mind when is the last time you really took interest in something someone you love is doing? Find that thing that excites them and ask them to tell you all about it and where they are going with it. Offer to be a resource or reference even if it is no more than just a work of encouragement from time to time. As you are taking interest in others, take note of those that take interest in you. Show them gratitude and return interest to there investment in you. Love Always - Coach J I enjoy sharing my insights. I feel great when I see a light bulb kick on for someone when I share an idea, thought or perspective. I look at them and see potential and hope I've been a resource that brings them a step closer to taking action, or an influence that maintains their progress, maybe even improves it. What humbles me to tears is when I see potential in a person and seek to share in their development and I see them take the lesson, appreciate it, multiply it and demonstrate on a level that I didn't even see within them! Just blowing the doors off of all expectations. Like a small stick of dynamite - you look at something and believe it is powerful, yet small and you teach it and tell it - you're powerful, you're bigger than you know. Then you spark the fuse and it blows up bigger than you ever imagined. The greatness within each person is amazing. Even when I think I know it all and believe what others can do I still see demonstrations that humble me. I am reminded to listen to my teacher and mentors and strive to blow the doors off of what it is that they see in me. Thank you for listening to me when I have a lesson, thank you for sharing when you have one. Gratitude with no expectation leads to a world full of wonder and inspiration. Love Always - Coach J When you walk away from something consistent do not feel sorry for yourself when it does not come looking for you. Take this for example, if you have a job that pays well and is a stable place to work and you leave for another employer that is unstable you cannot expect your former employer to keep looking after you and check in on you. For all they know you are quite content where you are. You have to seek out the consistent positive forces in your life an align with them. When you stray you will see less of the benefit of that consistency. What has changed is you. Not the source. Do not feel sorry for yourself when others are not actively seeking you to check on you. If they are good people and consistent in their execution and beliefs than you can choose to align with them. It is your choice what you allow time for in your life and what you do not. The more you are consistent the more you will find strength in your every move. Love Always - Coach J |
