where to focus

Sometimes you need to stand alone, trust what you are doing and resist the urge to look for approval.  Know why you are doing what you are doing.  Support and engage your team.  To use a performance analogy; imagine the orchestra turning the house lights on so they can gauge their performance on the audience reaction and not on how they are synching with each other.  The observers will observe and have an opinion.  The person of action must be in the moment and moving freely and fluid.
