patience

One definition of patience is the ability to endure through difficult situations.  This definition is the reason I never wanted patience in my life - I figure why ask to endure difficult situations?  Why not tackle them head on?  Take the fight to the situation and keep your eyes open to learn the lesson- live life to the fullest!  Recently the word patience was broken down for me to finding another's pace.  All you are doing is pacing yourself to another speed of action.  This is far more tolerable for me and even welcome when I come from the mindset of adjusting my speed to the issue at hand for final resolve.  It is not about enduring, it is about recognizing the speed of the situation and dealing with it as is.
