maturation

Listening to a program a few days ago the idea was shared that your ability to accept change is directly correlated to your maturity.  Whoa.. I immediately thoughts of areas where I can "grow up".  I actually seek change and new experiences but when an unexpected change outside of my expectations occurs I find that I am not them most mature person.  This is interesting to me how on one side I do very well with change and even look to make it happen but in this situation it is almost always "bigger" things.  Where as the "smaller" things, and more so even daily things throw me for a loop.  Another day alive, another day to work at it.
