Have you ever seen something so bad or ugly it made you realize how good you really have it? I can admit I have had experiences where I wish I had been wiser and not put myself in a situation that made me think "What am I doing here? I don't need to be in this environment!" In those moments I was fortunate enough to have a measurement of good that I could reference as the place I'd rather be. If you are in a dark place and do not have a frame of reference of a better place, I tell you it exists, simply look for small clues first. And for those of you in a good place now, don't wait to be tested or witness something less than beautiful to fully grasp and appreciate the good that is in your life now. The good will only multiply. If you have a little, amplify it, if you have a lot amplify it. Focus on the good, and minimize the bad and the ugly.
