Dormant beauty unlike any other. Vibrant, strong and vulnerable at the same time. In their season they have no match for their natural beauty and fragrance. While most of their development is underground and unnoticed until they bloom. Then eyes see them that never knew they existed before. Walked by countless times without regard, but as soon as they bloom they hold so many in awe. One day you shall bloom, but you must also grow and develop. Love Always - Coach J

In medieval times, the flower was viewed as the pinnacle of perfection. From that we get phrases like flower of beauty, youth, or in the case of my study, the Flower of Knighthood reserved for a great knight. Fiore dei Liberi is the master I study. His name means Flower of Freedom.
They are tough and wonderful things. I teach my boys in the garden not to water at the base of a plant, but in a ring around it. Life cannot be strong unless it has something to reach for.
