Some things can be uncomfortable. Most things can be delt with to a certain degree with the proper preparation. Learning a new subject can be taxing but reading study material, watching videos on the subject and talking to others interested in the field of study can help increase your learning curve as well as take away some of the discomfort. Freezing tempuratures are not fun for everyone but having long johns, proper jackets, footwear and gloves can make the most uncomfortable situations more tolerable. Adjust accordingly.
