The pride of a city and the strength of a community are tested in moments of disaster. Watching a group of people overcome overwhelming odds to rebuild their homes and communities, helping each other, looking forward and not back. My experieince of visiting a community that has overcome a disaster is that their sense of pride and community is energizing and inspiring.
