If you saw a deaf person headed for imminent disaster by walking into speeding traffic wouldn't you help them? So why do so many of us with perfectly fine ears refuse to listen to feedback that can help us course correct? Is it pride, ego, emotions that get in the way? Next time you feel unwilling or not wanting to listen to others input imagine yourself walking right off a cliff because you couldn't hear someone else yelling for you to stop. Just because you listen does not mean you need to take the advice or even agree. You are simply giving yourself the maximized opportunity to collect as much information as possible.
