If I said from this day forward you will live in a cage how would that make you feel? What does a cage smell like? How does it feel? What do you see and hear? Interestingly for some it would be quite relieving to have a secure place to stay with food and water provided without having to hunt or gather. External threats would now be irrelevant. You can hang up any pretty pictures or decorations you like. Don't you want to be safe and secure? Or do you want to live in the real world where it is scary and beautiful all at the same time. Get a little hungry and have to fight, scratch, and earn your keep. Is there pride and growth in earning your own keep? It's your choice. Hide away and decorate your cage or get out and see things you never can experience until you put a little on the line and live amongst the living.
