burning desire

I love passion - an intense burning desire towards a cause or outcome.  I don't have the same feeling about anger.  Passion is the fire that keeps us warm on a cold night.  When things are not going as planned or we are not sure what to do next in our cause - passion can kindle the energy to continue.  Anger is out of control passion, it is the flame getting too large and harming someone.  Notice within yourself when something you are passionate about meets oppression and take care to keep the fire burning without spilling over to hurt someone.  Someone or something may try to stomp out your flame and when they do realize that what they are doing is letting their fire run wild in an attempt to harm you.  They are trying to defeat your passion with their passion.  Fire never exhausts fire but they can be fueled to grow larger.  No one can kill your flame if it is internal, no matter what it cannot be stopped.  Worry not about the fire extinguishers your flame of passion is safe in your heart and will only inspire those that you chose to warm with your passion.  Now ask yourself what are you passionate about that will warm others and bring you joy?
