absence does not make all things fonder

There is a saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."  Its intent is that the love that you do not have at all times becomes stronger through its absence.  Relaying this to any relationship I agree that everyone needs some working space.  However I ask you to consider that all great relationships are based on presence.  You need to be there in times of need as well as times of victory.  You also need to be present during regular humdrum day to day operations.  Present means in the moment, fully attentive, actively listening and engaged.  Take time away to work on yourself but never be absent for the sake of trying to make another "fonder".  Love Always - Coach J
