Love Always - Coach J
What a marvelous day of exhausting relaxation! We started early to go to a neighborhood event with a bounce house, kids games, caulk art, snacks, beverages, and great company. We came home took a quick nap then back out to the store, then park for playground run around, took a nice stroll over to the reservoir. Headed home at dusk to tune into boxing that ended swiftly (round three) and mercifully to end the day. I was hugging my pillow with the day of non stop relaxation and participation behind me.

There is always a time when all the practice and preparation has to be taken to task. Time to take action. There is no time to think, your muscle memory will take over. Any nervous energy is fine but it will not save you in this moment, you have to trust that you prepared for this moment and ride the high. Love Always - Coach J A crucible is a melting pot where metals are forged. It is also used as a term for an extreme test. In the test we find our strength that we work for in training. Without the test we never really know how strong we really are. In being tested and demonstrating our strength or knowledge the lesson is internalized into a deeper understanding than we had prior to the test. It becomes part of us and not just a philosophical point of view. We can study and train all we want, but if we never get out into the world and test our studies we will be weak in the face of adversity. Take your lumps, test your theory and use the power of the crucible to your advantage. Love Always - Coach J Do I need more than to take my first conscious breath to acknowledge this is a beautiful life? Simply waking in the comfort and care of my health and sound mind should be enough to start the day on the right foot. Once I am alert, focused and back to my physical plane I can seek other goals and pursuits, but genuine joy is as simple as gratitude in that first breath. Love Always - Coach J We all have acquaintances, associates, buddies, pals, and friends. How many of you have a brother (or sister) friend? One that you have known for sometime and have been through trials with? Even more so that know your shortcomings and still chose to Love and invest in you. Who are these angels in your life? Where did they come from? What have you done to receive such a blessing? Appreciate them by being there for them, and send them a quick "I love you" message today. Don't hold back the feeling you have for another day - express your gratitude today with no expectation of return. Be free and open to love fully and completely everyday through expression, appreciation and no attachment to outcome. Let me know in the comment section what a brother or sister friend looks like to you. Love Always - Coach J Abba from Aramaic origin can be translated as the most intimate for of Father, such as "papa" = endearing in its nature. Ask yourself what would you have such an endearing attachment or emotional reaction to? Now look at the translation of Abba to mean Source. When you look at the father as the source you realize all comes from him through you. You are a representation of the source. Connect to the source to have a full, rich and endearing connection with others. The original Source, the Creator of all is your Abba. Do not be clouded by Earthly representations of Fathers. We all do our best on Earth to reflect the one true Abba, yet we are still only human in form. Connect to your original source. Love Always - Coach J I enjoy sharing my insights. I feel great when I see a light bulb kick on for someone when I share an idea, thought or perspective. I look at them and see potential and hope I've been a resource that brings them a step closer to taking action, or an influence that maintains their progress, maybe even improves it. What humbles me to tears is when I see potential in a person and seek to share in their development and I see them take the lesson, appreciate it, multiply it and demonstrate on a level that I didn't even see within them! Just blowing the doors off of all expectations. Like a small stick of dynamite - you look at something and believe it is powerful, yet small and you teach it and tell it - you're powerful, you're bigger than you know. Then you spark the fuse and it blows up bigger than you ever imagined. The greatness within each person is amazing. Even when I think I know it all and believe what others can do I still see demonstrations that humble me. I am reminded to listen to my teacher and mentors and strive to blow the doors off of what it is that they see in me. Thank you for listening to me when I have a lesson, thank you for sharing when you have one. Gratitude with no expectation leads to a world full of wonder and inspiration. Love Always - Coach J Is there anything more adorable than watching an infant or toddler hug a soft stuffed animal. I mean those stuffed animals that have just the right filling and the irresistibly welcoming exterior. The ones that are so plush you sneak a hug in here and there because they are so comforting. To watch a child hug that toy and the comfort that consumes their entire being from body to soul fills me with joy simply watching their innocence and security be reinforced through that moment of pure bliss. Go out today and find a stuffed animal and close your eyes, go back to your childhood and hold on for dear life - forget where you are and who you think you are and just enjoy that moment of bliss and freedom. Tell me how it felt in the comment section below. Love Always - Coach J I have a few friends that are ill or recovering from an illness at this time. I like to think of them returning to their complete and optimal health immediately when I think of them. One recovering from a digestive issue, another battling lupus, one out of the hospital from extreme exhaustion. I recall them in full form, as complete and restored. I wish not for the expelling of an illness but the return to complete health. For them to be whole, healthy and complete. Today in place of focusing on your loved ones illnesses just meditate and pray with the visualization of them completely whole, renewed and recovered. In optimal health. Love Always - Coach J Last night during the most intense thunder and lightening storm we have had of the spring I have to admit I had one of the deepest most relaxing slumbers I have had in some time. The bedroom window was cracked so I could hear the downpour. At some point in the night there was a crack of thunder that shook the house and I expected the children to wake a little disturbed. I heard no stirring and fell back to sleep quickly. In the midst of this intense event I was able to rest. It is amazing that having a sound home (family, values, knowledge of self and God) as well as house (physical support) can get you through all kinds of storms. Love Always - Coach J |
