Love Always - Coach J
How to shift your mind from self to servant? One method is to look at all things from a perspective that you do not own them but you are charged with their care and safe keeping. You will own some possessions for some time then you will pass them on or you will pass on. The shift from self to servant can be facilitated by thinking like a steward, not an owner.

What frequency do you vibrate at? Consider this - if gold vibrates at one level and fertilizer at another which end of the spectrum are you vibrating at right now? Where do you want to be? You'll get to where you want to be by being that right now - in the moment. How can you influence your potential for success? Look at the vibration of your surroundings and input. Plants, flowers trees, sunshine. The music or news you listen to the movies or television you watch. The things you hear and say influence your vibrations constantly - put yourself at an advantage by carefully selecting your surroundings and vibe like you mean it! Love Always - Coach J Watching all skill levels at "try-outs" for a little league team (everyone will make a team) is refreshing and inspiring. Some are well crafted in their sport others are there for the fellowship, and some are simply there because their parents drug them there. Still all are beautiful souls and watching the development of their physical skills while being able to invest time in their emotional development is a blessing. Love Always - Coach J As you read the title of this post what came to mind? Did you think of treading lightly? Looking around corners? Wrapping your child in bubble wrap before sending them out to the world? What my intention is with this post is to remind you and myself to have care in our hearts when we do what we do. Be Full of Care = Careful. Caring leads to serving and serving leads to purpose, purpose leads to fulfillment. What a place of balance we can reside in if we are careful. Love Always - Coach J I recall my the first time I wore a tie as an adult. I did not know how to tie a tie so I asked one of my buddies for a one of his. It was already tied and I used to loosen it enough to get over my head but never took the knot out. Now I am teaching my boys how to tie their ties and even wearing bow ties. Fashion is an expression and I enjoy it. Past the conformity of wearing a tie - it is about adding to your visual representation. A sign of independence and growth for me as well. Cheer to the hand tied ties - death to the clip ons! Love Always - Coach J I enjoy going through my workouts quickly. I like knocking the movements out explosivly. When I do slow movements such as tempo lifts my form improves and I am more challenged. Relating this to learning, growing and maturing I believe we need to focus on deliberate growth which mostly comes slowly and in its time. I want to focus on the strength of your development, not the speed of your development. This way you can sustain when there is no one there to hold you up. Love Always - Coach J Recently I have felt the cold coming on from Winter. The cold we have been experiencing has been without snow and it has just been getting cooler. Yesterday we had cold tempuratures but we had beautiful light fluffy snowflakes accumulating. When I went outside it didn't seem as cold even though the temp was at a level I would have called very cold before. My mind saw the beauty of the snow and it all made sense. Snow id beautiful! Love Always - Coach J Sometimes we just feel "off". We are not on our game, we feel out of synch. At least this happens to me from time to time. It is occasional but when it hits there is not telling up from down. All I can do is focus on th emoment stay centered, read from good books and "ride it out". This is a time of testing, forging and strengthening. Stay the course, keep your eyes on the horizon and keep pushing. Love Always - Coach J |
