Love Always - Coach J
When is the last time you and your loved one worked on a puzzle together? Maybe your Husband, Wife, Child, Grandchild, or Parent took the time to work through a jigsaw puzzle with you and you never forgot that. Who was the one that wanted to do all the outside pieces first? Who simply looked to match colors? Who set up the picture on the box and worked from clues on each piece to start laying out the general area that piece might end up in? There are so many methods to attack a puzzle and so many different learning and problem solving styles that it is amazing to watch your teammates thoughts and organization when working through placing the pieces where they belong. To create a perfect picture we need to work together, honor the differencing styles and most of all enjoy the ride to completion. The feeling of accomplishment when the last piece is placed is exhilarating and the journey is what makes it all worth it. No matter the pieces your life is in there is a clear picture of the intent and purpose. Work with your loved ones to put it together. Most importantly enjoy your time together.

Blessed is the man that has a strong foundation in the midst of the storm. A place of shelter, refuge, and safety. To know what you believe, to know where you stand even when being tossed about by life's storms is a priceless gift. Storms are part of the natural process of life. Those who prepare a home for the times of storm are wise. Invest in your shelter on the sunny days so you are protected when the winds of change come. Storms can be a financial emergency, family crisis, career change, physical ailment, or any other event that takes you off balance from your daily routine. Take inventory of the areas of your life from career, family, spirit, health, financial, community, education and deliberately plan how to invest in each of these areas a little at a time in preparation for the test or storm that will come. Sometimes when you are seeding the weather does not cooperate with your expectations, sometimes the seed doesn't take, and sometimes the soil is not fertile. You life and you learn but the natural order is that you must seed to receive a harvest. For those of us in the midst of seeding, keep the good and steady hand. Continue your work with the focus on the finish line because you know why you started. In the end you must earn the beautiful words "well done, my good and faithful servant". Keep the faith, keep your vision, and never give up your work. Love Always - Coach J Yesterday I addressed the topic of Father being the Source. You are like that from which you came. An apple comes from an apple tree. Certain genetic factors and traits will come from your physical father. Other traits will come from your eternal source, the source of all life. To be able to resource the original love, compassion, wisdom and understanding is a blessing to say the least. Look into your life and see where you can be a resource for someone else. You don't need to have all the answers, check in with your source and channel them. It is a complement to your connection to the source to be considered resourceful. Love Always - Coach J Abba from Aramaic origin can be translated as the most intimate for of Father, such as "papa" = endearing in its nature. Ask yourself what would you have such an endearing attachment or emotional reaction to? Now look at the translation of Abba to mean Source. When you look at the father as the source you realize all comes from him through you. You are a representation of the source. Connect to the source to have a full, rich and endearing connection with others. The original Source, the Creator of all is your Abba. Do not be clouded by Earthly representations of Fathers. We all do our best on Earth to reflect the one true Abba, yet we are still only human in form. Connect to your original source. Love Always - Coach J Take a moment and think about how it feels when someone genuinely takes an interest in a project you are working on, your health or your family. It is a feeling of warmth mixed with excitement. We love to share information about things we are passionate about. When we share a goal we are chasing we feel stronger and more at peace with that goal when we can say it out loud and have another person really get behind us on it. Our language calls this taking interest in someone. Interest means we are curious or want to learn more about a topic or person. Anytime we project this type of energy we are feeding the other person. It also means a regular payout on an investment or loan. You have invested in this person and they will keep you updated regularly to keep the energy level maintained - this is interest. It is a self filling energy source. With this in mind when is the last time you really took interest in something someone you love is doing? Find that thing that excites them and ask them to tell you all about it and where they are going with it. Offer to be a resource or reference even if it is no more than just a work of encouragement from time to time. As you are taking interest in others, take note of those that take interest in you. Show them gratitude and return interest to there investment in you. Love Always - Coach J I enjoy sharing my insights. I feel great when I see a light bulb kick on for someone when I share an idea, thought or perspective. I look at them and see potential and hope I've been a resource that brings them a step closer to taking action, or an influence that maintains their progress, maybe even improves it. What humbles me to tears is when I see potential in a person and seek to share in their development and I see them take the lesson, appreciate it, multiply it and demonstrate on a level that I didn't even see within them! Just blowing the doors off of all expectations. Like a small stick of dynamite - you look at something and believe it is powerful, yet small and you teach it and tell it - you're powerful, you're bigger than you know. Then you spark the fuse and it blows up bigger than you ever imagined. The greatness within each person is amazing. Even when I think I know it all and believe what others can do I still see demonstrations that humble me. I am reminded to listen to my teacher and mentors and strive to blow the doors off of what it is that they see in me. Thank you for listening to me when I have a lesson, thank you for sharing when you have one. Gratitude with no expectation leads to a world full of wonder and inspiration. Love Always - Coach J When you walk away from something consistent do not feel sorry for yourself when it does not come looking for you. Take this for example, if you have a job that pays well and is a stable place to work and you leave for another employer that is unstable you cannot expect your former employer to keep looking after you and check in on you. For all they know you are quite content where you are. You have to seek out the consistent positive forces in your life an align with them. When you stray you will see less of the benefit of that consistency. What has changed is you. Not the source. Do not feel sorry for yourself when others are not actively seeking you to check on you. If they are good people and consistent in their execution and beliefs than you can choose to align with them. It is your choice what you allow time for in your life and what you do not. The more you are consistent the more you will find strength in your every move. Love Always - Coach J Is there anything more adorable than watching an infant or toddler hug a soft stuffed animal. I mean those stuffed animals that have just the right filling and the irresistibly welcoming exterior. The ones that are so plush you sneak a hug in here and there because they are so comforting. To watch a child hug that toy and the comfort that consumes their entire being from body to soul fills me with joy simply watching their innocence and security be reinforced through that moment of pure bliss. Go out today and find a stuffed animal and close your eyes, go back to your childhood and hold on for dear life - forget where you are and who you think you are and just enjoy that moment of bliss and freedom. Tell me how it felt in the comment section below. Love Always - Coach J |
